We are the controller for the personal data processed through this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we process, and why

Enquiries. If you use the contact form or write to us by email or phone, we process the details you provide — typically name, company, email address and the content of your message — in order to answer you and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a contract. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical access data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer and browser identification. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

No third-party services. This site loads nothing from external servers. The typeface (Inter, SIL Open Font License) is served from our own domain, and there are no embedded maps, videos, social widgets, tag managers, advertising pixels or font CDNs. Your browser therefore contacts no third party when you visit these pages.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising or analytics services. It stores a single value in your browser's local storage (rt-theme) to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. This value never leaves your device and is not personal data in the sense of profiling. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Recipients

Personal data is not sold and not passed on for advertising. It may be processed on our behalf by service providers acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR — in particular our web hosting provider and our email provider — and by advisers or authorities where we are legally required to disclose it.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, this is done on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and thereafter for as long as statutory retention obligations require — for business correspondence in Austria this is generally seven years under § 132 BAO. Server logs are deleted or anonymised after a short period.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, write to office@redtowerventures.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).

Is providing data mandatory?

You are not obliged to provide any personal data. Without a name and an email address, however, we cannot reply to an enquiry.
